Building

Moving to Bewdley High School is an amazing step in the life of our Church.  I take this opportunity to thank all at the school for their kindness, professionalism, and fantastic cooperation in facilitating this move.

As a leadership we would like to say a massive thank you to all of those in Riverside who have already been working on sound, signage, decoration, catering, etc, to all of those who will be setting up early and those part of all the teams, and to all of those who give weekly and who gave on last week’s gift day.

Prayer

We continue to have monthly prayer and fasting under the direction of Pat who has been appointed our Prayer co-ordinator.  We believe in being a church that prays (surprising!) and we have appointed Pat to raise the profile of collective prayer in the church.  This will entail running all corporate prayer within the church.  We pray Pat would know blessing, power and wisdom in directing this area.

Bible Study

Our Tuesday night Xplore, the teaching/discussion/group on, ‘Growth in Character’ was fantastic. It was great to see so many attending and the excellent reports coming back.  This month will see something brand new starting.  Don’t forget the monthly bible reading plan and Power Verse under George Circus’ guidance.

Youth

Part of our vision is ‘Building Hope’ and we believe what we do has a generational impact. We see the next generation as just as important as this one and we want to reach them.  We thank Tim and Ali for leading our youth and for the heart and vision they have for them.  Please support them in all that they do and take time to encourage them.

To develop this area we have a youth team coming in October from from Northern Ireland to work at the schools in the area and also to hold a concert at the end of the week with the goal of seeing young lives touched and changed.  Please pray for this.

Worship

This is an area we are looking to expand and develop.  Andi Oakes blessed so many in his recent trip that we believed that his ministry would be of more benefit to us. We will be hosting Andi and his wife Grace from October 3rd-5th.  They will be holding a Worship workshop for our worship team and then also one for those looking to explore this area in their lives.  At this event we will also be looking for new musicians and singers for our worship team, so bring your instrument and your heart for worship.
